Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Ark Bed and Breakfast is ideally placed for a visit to Cambridge. We offer centrally-located, non-smoking bed and breakfast accommodation in a family atmosphere (children over 10 years welcome).

We have two guest rooms from which to choose. A ground floor room available as a twin or a single and a first floor room available as a twin or a single.

Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, personal hand basin, shared bathroom, radio and hair dryer available.

 

Cambridge Attractions

 
Cambridge University is famous for its wide variety of architecture. The ages of the colleges range from hundreds of years old, to very modern buildings. Some people believe that the most beautiful building in the world is here, King's College Chapel, a very beautiful building outside and with ornate internal decorations that attract many people from all over the world.

The colleges have beautiful gardens, with a colourful array of flowers, usually beside the river Cam, which during the summer, can be visited by the public.

We are also well placed to have easy access (15-20 minutes walk) to the Town Centre and (5 minutes walk) Grafton centre. The Cambridge Crown Court is just two minutes walk from The Ark.

Punting:
The River Cam is only a short walk from The Ark. You can stroll along its banks, take in the lovely views of Midsummer Common and Jesus Green and possibly even treat yourself to a punt ride.

Continue to follow A1309 1.7 mi
Slight right at A1134/Trumpington Rd
Continue to follow Trumpington Rd 1.3 mi
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A603/Lensfield Rd
Continue to follow A603 1.0 mi
At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A603/East Rd 0.2 mi
Turn left at St Matthew's St
Destination will be on the left
