All or some rooms have private bathrooms. We accept payment in cash. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. There are scenic walks in the surrounding area. Smoking is not permitted in the establishment. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.
All rooms have TV. Our BNB is a working farm.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Cambridge is a 20 minute drive from our Bed and Breakfast Accommodation on a working family farm. Model Farm was built in the late 1850's of local bricks and retains many of its original features.

Two of the guest rooms have their own separate entrances, one is on the ground floor the other is reached via a spiral staircase. The three ensuite rooms (shower, wash basin and WC) have a standard double bed, Digital TV and tea/coffee making facilities The single room has its own bathroom next door, TV and tea/coffee facilities.

A variety of breakfasts are available, ranging from the English cooked breakfast to a lighter continental version including a fresh fruit salad plus home made jam and marmalade. For evening meals there are several traditional country pubs 5-10 minutes drive away

Please note this is a totally non smoking house.

 

Little Gransden Attractions

 
Cambridge

If you are planning to spend more than a couple of hours in Cambridge use the Park and Ride by junction 13 of the M11. This saves the problem and expense of parking in the city. The Tour Bus operates from this site.

Duxford Imperial War Museum:
World famous for its collection of aircraft. Allow a whole day to see it all.

Ely:
Famous for its Cathederal.

Wimploe Hall:
National Trust Property 10 minute drive. 18th Century House, Park, Gardens and Farm.

Anglesey Abbey:
National Trust Property, wonderful gardens.

Shuttleworth:
Vintage aeroplane and car collection

At junction 12, take the A603 exit to Sandy/Cambridge 0.3 mi
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A603/Cambridge Rd heading to Sandy 0.4 mi
Turn right at B1046/New Rd
Continue to follow B1046 3.6 mi
Turn left at B1046/High St
Continue to follow B1046 3.4 mi
Turn right at A1198/Old N Rd 85 ft
