Bed and Breakfast Description |
| |
|
If you are looking for a comfortable, modern home from home - a central base from which to explore the beautiful island of Skye, then look no further!
Lorraine and Richard will look after your every need. We offer luxurious accommodation, including lots of little extras that we know make all the difference - we know because we spent many years taking bed-and-breakfast holidays ourselves! We only have two guest rooms, so you are guaranteed to have our full attention during your stay.
Both guest rooms are equipped with TV, DVD, hospitality tray, toiletries and hairdryer. Both rooms have a loch view, and one of them even has a private patio overlooking stunning scenery, where you can relax with a glass of wine or early morning cup of tea.
We are renowned for our wonderful home cooked breakfasts (and evening meals by arrangement), including vegetarian and vegan options, and we gladly cater for any special diet, although we do ask you to give us adequate notice of your particular requirements.
We have a little guest lounge area with a TV/DVD, complete with a wide DVD film library you can browse to your heart's content. We even have a little craft shop within the house offering a wide range of hand-crafted gifts to suit every budget.
We believe that Rosebank cannot be beaten in terms of comfort, facilities, views and location. Come and see for yourself! |

Struan Attractions |
| |
The whole of Skye is a haven of peaceful beauty, including its 365-mile uneven coastline with all its secluded bays, windswept beaches and craggy cliff faces.
The awesome Cuillin mountains run across the middle of the island, and you can take lovely, easy drives along quiet roads that take you through tiny hamlets and sheep-dotted hillsides, or perhaps venture out on one of numerous walks which offer breathtaking views around every corner plus the opportunity to spot an unequalled range of wildlife, including buzzards, golden eagles, sea eagles, otters, seals, basking sharks, cormorants, herons - the list is endless.
If you feel the need for some retail therapy you'll be able to satisfy it in one of our main towns of Portree or Broadford, both of which have a wide selection of little shops to choose from. And as for where to eat, well you'll be spoiled for choice as right across Skye there are lots of good cafes, hotels and restaurants, although you'd be hard-pressed to better the quality of Lorraine's cooking right on your doorstep - at Rosebank!!!
If history is what interests you, you will find Dunvegan Castle fascinating, also the Island Museum situated at the northern tip of Skye, plus many other historical attractions dotted around the island.
If you are a climber, walker, angler, bird-watcher, crafter, gourmet, or you just want to sit on a hillside, read a book and take in some peaceful unspoiled beauty, then Skye is definitely the holiday destination for you. |
