Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Welcome to Craigmore Bed and Breakfast set in the heart of Scotland’s beautiful capital, Edinburgh. We have two double/twin rooms with ensuite bathroom for you to choose from. Both rooms have soft toweling robes, showering accessories, tea and coffee making facilities, radio, digital alarm clock radio and hairdryer. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden and includes a selection of cereals and oatmeal porridge, toast with preserves and a choice of tea or coffee and fruit juice. Eggs are made to order and can be accompanied by bacon, sausage, black pudding and mushrooms. We try to use local fresh products whenever possible.

There is a pleasant garden to enjoy with seating area as well as a private lounge for guests to relax in after a hard day sight seeing. Rae and Peter enjoy having guests and look forward to welcoming you to their home.

 

Edinburgh Attractions

 
Edinburgh, the inspiring capital of Scotland, is an incredibly compact city making it easy for visitors to cover a lot of ground in a short space of time. Edinburgh Castle dominates the city-centre skyline and from its walls you can look down on medieval lanes and stylish, sweeping terraces that hold over a thousand years of history and tradition. There is so much to do in Edinburgh that fitting it all in will be your biggest challenge! We are only fifteen minutes from the city centre with regular buses every five minutes making sight-seeing very accessible.

By day, you can stroll through world-ranking art galleries and museums, take a tour on an open-top bus, indulge in some serious retail therapy in internationally renowned shops, or walk back in time to the historic Royal Mile. The Royal Yacht Britannia is a short bus trip to Ocean Terminal in the historic port of Leith. The Royal Botanic Gardens provides a beautiful walk on a nice Edinburgh day. By night, you can choose from numerous theatres, cafes, clubs and restaurants. The Edinburgh Festival & Military Tatoo held in the summer months attract leading performers from around the world. The local galleries display cutting-edge art and the bars and clubs create a vibrant atmosphere for you to enjoy.
