This friendly family run Guest House is ideal for the discerning guest. Close to all the major sites of Bristol yet still a tranquil haven set in its own 2.5 acres of private gardens.

This friendly family run Guest House is situated on Stoke Hill in Sneyd Park and is ideal for the discerning guest. Close to the Methodist Training College and Bristol University Halls of Residence on the edge of Durdham Downs, and yet only ten minutes drive from the centre of Bristol. On a main bus route and 20 minutes from Bristol International Airport.

Westfield House is easily accessed from both the M4 and M5. But once there, you have the feeling of being in the middle of the country. Situated in 2� acres of private gardens, this is a delightful, idyllic relaxing setting for a Guest House. The grounds are also the hunting grounds of owls, badgers, falcons, hedgehogs and other wildlife. The rooms are beautifully appointed, single or double with en-suite, TV, coffee and tea making facilities. Either continental or English breakfast is available. There is ample off street parking. Come and try us. You won't be disappointed.

 

Bristol Attractions

 
Close by are many famous attractions, Bristol Zoo, Isambard Kingdom Brunel's Clifton Suspension bridge across the famous Avon Gorge, John Cabot's Tower, The Georgian House, The Red House, Blaise Castle and many more. In Summer an open top tour bus stops at the top of the road and provides a wonderful tour of the whole city.

Westfield House is easily accessed from both the M4 and M5. But once there, you have the feeling of being in the middle of the country.

From the South;
M5 Exit 18 to Bristol City Centre
At roundabout take 2nd exit (A4 city centre)
Follow A4 for 2.2 miles
Turn left at Traffic Lights into Sylvan Way
Turn right at next Traffic Lights into Shirehampton Rd
Continue for 0.8 miles to mini-roundabout.
Take 2nd exit into Druid Hill, this becomes Stoke Hill in village.
Straight up Stoke Hill from village,
Turn right, after 2nd set of central bollards, at top of incline, into Westfield House.

From the town centre; take the Whiteladies rd. This road runs up to the Downs. At the major junction at the Downs go straight on across the Downs. You will see a water tower on your right. At the next set of lights carry straight on. You are now on Stoke hill past Church Road and Church Avenue on left hand-side. Our house is 4th house on left. Slow down when you see bollards in centre of road and enter gateway immediately after wall painted with white blobs.

From Wales;
M4 Exit 22 to join M49
At end of M49 follow signs for A4 Bristol
Use directions from South

From London and The North;
M5 Exit 17
Take right hand lane on slip road
Traffic light onto roundabout 2nd exit A4018 Bristol Centre
approx 300m roundabout 2nd exit 4018
approx .5 miles 1st exit at roundabout A4018
approx .5 miles 2nd exit up hill A4018 for Centre and Zoo.
Straight through various traffic lights, this road becomes Falcondale Rd
Past Badminton School on right and join The Downs (open park)
approx. 2.4 miles from previous roundabout Right filter lane, take 3rd exit at next roundabout into Parry's Lane
40metres 1st left into Saville Road
400m turn right at traffic lights into Stoke Hill
approx 400m past Stoke Park rd, Church Rd, Church Avenue on left
Westfield House 4th entrance after Church Avenue
