Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Our modern guest house is located close to the centre of the picturesque village of Meriden, long held as being the true centre of England.

At the Bonnifinglas guest house everyone is welcome; we offer a friendly service and attitude to all of our guests. Situated just five minutes away by car from the National Exhibition centre in Birmingham, we provide bed and breakfast accommodation at reasonable rates.

Our guest house boasts a spacious breakfast room and lounge area where guests can relax and watch television. We serve a full cooked English breakfast daily or, for smaller appetites, are pleased to offer poached or scrambled eggs with toast. In addition we also offer a full range of cereals and fresh fruit juice.

Should you prefer privacy, all of our bedrooms have televisions installed along with full tea and coffee making facilities. All of our rooms are en-suite and we are able to provide ground floor accommodation for guests with mobility problems. In addition all of our rooms now have wireless internet access.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer an evening meal, however as we are located close to the centre of Meriden, a number of pubs and Restaurants are within easy walking distance. The village also has a number of Take Away Restaurants and guests are welcome to consume food purchased from them within the guest house.

 

Coventry Attractions

 
Being in the middle of England a number of options are available for people wishing to explore the area.

Should you have time on your hands then shopping in Birmingham’s Bull Ring is a must, or you could take in some of the sites in Historic Coventry both of which are within 10 miles of our Guest house.

Guests with their own transport who are looking to go further afield will find that Warwick Castle and Stratford Upon Avon are both within a 30 minute drive and make excellent places to visit.

Those guests who are planing a night out have the option of leaving there vehicles in our car park and we will gladly organise a taxi for you to go into either Coventry or Birmingham . Or if you prefer you could use the number 900 bus service that provides a regular service between Coventry and Birmingham Via Birmingham’s International exhibition centre and Airport. This service runs between 04:30 and Midnight and stops near to the guest house.

By Air : Birmingham International Airport is only 3 miles away.

By Rail : Birmingham International railway Station is only 3 miles away.

By Bus : Take the 900 bus from either Birmingham or Coventry.

By Road : From the M6. Leave at Junction 4 onto A452 Southbound. Turn left onto A45.

By Road : From the M42. Leave at Junction 6 onto A45. Follow signs for Coventry.

One mile after A45/A452 Junction turn left (just before the Flamenco restaurant), onto B4104 and follow signs for Meriden. Once into Meriden go straight on at the roundabout by the village green and carry on past the Bulls Head Public House which should be on your left. 100 yards past the Bulls Head turn right just before the Duck pond into Berkswell Road. The Bonnifinglas Guest House is the first house on the left hand side.
