Bed and Breakfast Description

Discover 1066 country. Cleavers Lyng is a privately owned grade II listed Country Guesthouse of considerable character and charm, with a history dating back to 1577. The original part of the house was built during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I to which the oak beams and inglenook fireplace in the breakfast area bear witness.

Set amidst elegant gardens ablaze with colour during the spring and summer months, Cleavers Lyng offers glorious views across unspoilt Sussex countryside. Our 1 and half of landscaped gardens have a wealth of birds and wildlife and are secluded and very peaceful. We have plenty of off road private parking.

All of our bedrooms have double beds and modern en-suite facilities, along with hospitality tray, 22" widescreen LCD flat TV with integrated DVD/CD player, free WIFI connection. For those that just like to relax and unwind away from the urban clamour we have plenty of comfortable seating in our downstairs lounge area. Games and cards are also available.
