Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The privately owned and managed Craigpark is ideally situated in the quiet Dennistoun Conservation Area, with its own private car parking and is just 20 minutes from Glasgow International Airport and 1 minute from Junction 15 of the M8 motorway. The city centre is only 1.5 miles away with excellent bus and train routes close by. Even closer, is the vibrant and exciting Merchant City area with its fantastic selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and nightlife. Here you will also find two of the city's newest state of the art concert and entertainment venues.

The Craigpark is the ideal base to enjoy these and more of what Glasgow has to offer and we will endeavour to offer guests some warm Scottish hospitality and an enjoyable, comfortable stay. Offering quality, comfortable accommodation, with central heating throughout, all rooms have a wash basin, TV, tea/coffee facilities and pleasant outlook over the well kept south facing gardens.

 

Glasgow Attractions

 
Many of the city's main attractions are within easy reach - Museums, Universities, Concert Halls and Glasgow Cathedral. We are also beside the newly regenerated Merchant City Area, which is bustling with a numerous selection of cafes, bars, restaurants and a lively night life.

By car:
The Craigpark is one minute from Junction 15 of the M8 motorway. This exit is signposted for Glasgow Cathedral and Glasgow Cross. Then follow the signs for Dennistoun, which will lead you to Alexandra Parade and turn right at the City Park Business Complex, into Craigpark and take the first on the right into Circus Drive.
From the city centre (George Square/Queen St Station) drive east along West George St>George St>Duke St. till you reach the Post Office, turn first left after the Post Office, (because of one way system), into Craigpark, and take 6th turning to the left into Circus Drive.

By train:
Take train from Queen St. Station (Low-Level) to Bellgrove Station.
Turn right at station exit and walk 100 yards to Duke Street Post office, turn left into Westercraigs at the end of which, turn left and immediately right into Broompark Street. Circus Drive is fifty yards ahead.
From Central Station, Bus Nos.38A or 213, from Hope St.beside the station, and alight at Alexandra Parade and turn right at the City Park Business Complex, into Craigpark and take the first on the right into Circus Drive.

By bus:
From West George Street (at George Square/Queen St.Station)
Bus Nos. 36/36A—38/38A—51—213 to alight at City Park on Alexandra Parade then turn right at the City Park Business Complex, into Craigpark and take the first on the right into Circus Drive.
Bus No.41/41A to alight at Duke Street beside the Post Office, walk up Westercraigs at the end of which, turn left and immediately right into Broompark Street. Circus Drive is fifty yards ahead.
From Buchanan Bus Station
Bus No.262 to Duke Street and as above.

On foot:
From George Square/Queen St Station-walk east along West George St>George St>Duke St. till you reach the Post Office, then walk up Westercraigs at the end of which, turn left and immediately right into Broompark Street.
Circus Drive is fifty yards ahead.
