Dhailling lodge offers an oasis of comfort, hospitality, good food and wine. We have 7 individually styled en-suite bedrooms, 3 singles, 2 twins, 2 doubles. Our accommodation is wheelchair acessible, with an elevator to the first floor bedrooms and a ramp leading to the front door.
All bedrooms are equipped with colour television, radio alarm clock, hairdryer, electric blanket, hospitality tray, bath robes. There is a residents Lounge and an intimate Dinning Room both overlooking the Firth of Clyde. Guests can also enjoy the private garden with panoramic views of the Firth of Clyde.
The Dhailling lodge was privillaged to be awarded by the Cowal and Dunoon Marketing group with the St Andrews award 2007-2008 for: Best Accommodation, Best Dinning & Best Service. |

The Cowal Peninsula is situated on the west coast of Scotland, between the Firth of Clyde and Loch Fyne, with the famous Kyles of Bute at the southernmost end. Some thirty miles long, and fifteen miles wide, it boasts stunningly beautiful Scottish scenery - mountains and glens; glistening lochs and rivers; heather and moorland; dense forests and around 100 miles of spectacular coastline.
Nearby villages include Sandbank, Innellan, Toward, Kilmum and Strone, with the smaller hamlets of Port Lamont and Inverchaolain also with easy reach.
Dunoon is a charming costal resort town, with excellent road, rail and air connections. It is situated on a peninsula and therefore attached to the Scottish mainland, but has a distinctive island feel - enhanced by the short ferry ride from Gourock.
Traditionally a holiday destination in the 1800's for rich Glasgow merchants, there are many wonderful examples of stunning Victorian houses. The main street is full of traditional and modern shops including Dunoon Ceramics factory outlet. There are several fine tearooms and restaurants. |
