Our bed and breakfast is a short stroll to Chesterfield town center with its unique Crooked Spire Church. Boasting a high standard of shops, an indoor and out door market and pubs of every taste.

We are ideally situated for the Peak District attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon & Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle, Bakewell and Matlock Bath.

Bolsover Castle, a 17th century house, which was the work of William Cavendish, is only ten minutes away by car.

Hardwick Hall, said to have “more glass than wall”, built by Countess Elizabeth of Shrewsbury (but more usually known as Bess of Hardwick) in 1597, is well worth a visit.

Bakewell - Famous for its puddings.

From junction 29 of M1 follow A617 to Chesterfield (approx 4 miles). At traffic light controlled roundabout select left lane and take 3rd exit. Keep in left lane and at next roundabout take 1st exit (continuous lane). Select right hand lane and at traffic lights go straight on. Keep in right hand lane and at traffic light controlled roundabout (B&Q) take 4th exit turning left onto Rutland Road (one way street). Take second right (Albion Road). At crossroads turn right (Clarence Road, one way street). Anis Louise Guest House is directly on right.

From East
Follow A617 to M1 motorway junction, then follow route from North/South.

From West
Follow A619 to Chesterfield. At traffic light controlled roundabout (B&Q) select middle lane and take 2nd exit turning left onto Rutland Road (one way street). Take second right (Albion Road). At crossroads turn right (Clarence Road, one way street). Anis Louise Guest House is directly on right.
