All or some rooms have private bathrooms. There is a beach nearby. Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. Garden and/or patio area for guests Hairdryers are available in rooms or on request. Internet access available in rooms or residents lounge.
We're sorry, we do not accept pets. We have on-site parking. There are scenic walks in the surrounding area. Smoking is not permitted in the establishment. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities. All rooms have TV.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Manor Farmhouse is a grade II listed former farmhouse situated in the village of Longburton, just 3 miles from the Historic market town of Sherborne in Dorset. There is an excellent pub/restaurant just 4 minutes walk away, which can be pre-booked by us.

Our Family Room can sleep 2 adults and 2 children in one Double and two Single beds and has an original victorian fireplace. The window overlooks a field.

Our Twin Room can sleep 2 adults in twin beds. It has 2 comfortable chairs and the window overlooks a field.

Our King Room can sleep up to 3 adults in one King Size bed and one single bed. This is a twin aspect room overlooking fields and our private garden at the rear.

Our Yellow Room can sleep 2 adults in a King Size bed and overlooks our private garden.

Each room has Private bath or shower, Tea & Coffee making facilities, Fresh Milk and KitKat on arrival, Hair Dryers, TV with VCR in Room, Internet connection on request, Ironing board & iron available.

Each room has extra blankets available and Dressing Gowns are available on request.

You will be very welcome to enjoy a stroll in our landscaped gardens. Laze and read your book by the stream. There are seating areas throughout the garden.

Full English Breakfast with vegitarean option. Special dietary needs catered for.

Ample off-road car-parking and secure bicycle storage. 'Well behaved' children welcome. Sorry - No Pets and No Smoking. Simple packed lunches can be arranged.

BY ROAD
From Sherborne, take the A352 South towards Dorchester. After 3 miles you will enter Longburton. Pass the Rose and Crown Public House on your left (by the Church) and continue along through the traffic-lights where the road narrows. Manor Farmhouse is another 300 yards on your right.

BY RAIL
The nearest train stations are at Sherborne, Yeovil Junction or Yeovil Pen-Mill - all of which are a short taxi-journey away. For train information call 08457 48 49 50 or visit the National Rail Enquires site.

BY AIR
The nearest airports are Bournemouth, Bristol, Exeter and Southampton. All of these have car rental facilities on site and we would suggest that you look at your chosen airports website to find out more about hire services available at these locations.
