Welcome to the Saplinbrae House Hotel. We are a family run hotel, run by Kevin and Carol Gibbins & our 2 sons Connor & Jordan. We offer top class accommodation at very reasonable rates and provide quality food in our comfortable restaurants, whether you're staying with us or just fancy an evening out.
We can host your company or private functions, such as Christmas parties, wedding receptions and so on. We also offer wireless internet access for our residential guests.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of rural Scotland by staying a while in our comfortable and well appointed rooms. You can be sure of a good night's sleep. We offer a wide variety of beautifully decorated rooms, all en-suite, with television, telephone and tea & coffee making facilities in every room.
Whether you're dining as a guest or just fancied a quality evening out, you will be spoiled for choice with our range of dining facilities. With high chairs available and a popular kid's menu on offer, you can enjoy a meal out with all the family. We offer a varied menu to appeal to every palate, and because we always aim to use fresh, local produce, you can be sure of a quality meal every time.
Our main restaurant offers comfortable seating for 62 people and provides a spacious yet intimate setting for your meal. For something a little less formal, you could select our lounge bar and restaurant. With seating for up to 24 and close to our well stocked bar, you're guaranteed a great night out.
If you like the 'Continental touch' you'll love our Bistro restaurant. Light and airy by design and comfortably accommodating up to 36 diners, this represents the ideal blend of traditional and modern. And if you just fancy a quiet drink, our Snug Bar is the ideal place for you. With a well stocked bar and excellent variety of beers, wines and spirits, not to mention the cosy atmosphere, this is perfect to unwind and enjoy your favourite tipple. |

We are located in the heart of rural Aberdeenshire, which makes us the perfect base for any number of local activities. We are surrounded by beautiful countrside to explore and barely 10 miles from the famous Moray Coast, with its plentiful supply of hidden coves and small fishing villages, including Pennan, the location of filming for the classic film, Local Hero.
We have a number of local tourist features to enjoy, such as the Whisky Trail, Aden Country Park farming museum and heritage centre, Fraserburgh Lighthouse Museum, the Peterhead Maritime Centre and the Macduff Marine Aquarium, to name but a few.
If country sports is your thing, we have plenty of inland fishing venues nearby, and sea fishing on the Moray Coast. We also boast an excellent variety of shooting facilities, including Roe Deer and Game Birds, all conveniently at your fingertips. We are also ideally located for the visiting golfer, with several world class golf courses just a few miles away at Peterhead, Cruden Bay, Banff and Macduff. |
