All or some rooms have private bathrooms. There is a beach nearby. There are bike hire facilities nearby. We accept payment in cash. Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. We accept payment with the Euro.
Garden and/or patio area for guests Hairdryers are available in rooms or on request. We're sorry, we do not accept pets. We have on-site parking. We accept PayPal. We have a residents lounge.
There are scenic walks in the surrounding area. All rooms have a shaving socket. Smoking is not permitted in the establishment. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

We offer clean and comfortable accommodation in our family home for adults only.

All bedrooms have:

* Guest controlled electric heating
* Double glazing
* Tea/coffee making facilities
* Radio/alarm
* Hairdryer
* Wardrobe
* Smoke detector (centralised)
* Tourist information pack
* View of Broadford bay or the hills and fields around the house

In addition, all double and twin rooms have a handbasin with hot and cold water.

* Sorry, we don't have any en-suite rooms but we are able to offer private facilities
* TV is provided in the guest lounge only

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house, only in one designated spot in the garden.

The guest lounge on the ground floor has stunning views over Broadford Bay and has the following available:

* Colour television, DVD player and VCR
* Selection of Scotland themed video cassette tapes and DVDs
* Displayed Landranger maps of North and South Skye
* Local restaurant menus and other local information
* Public transport timetables
* Novels and reference books
* Binoculars - for bird, boat and otter spotting
* Selection of board games and playing cards

 

Broadford Attractions

 
Green Gables House is just one mile from Broadford village centre where you will find a range of shops and businesses to serve your requirements. The petrol station is open 24 hours a day and supplies petrol, diesel and LPG. Adjacent to this is the Co-op supermarket and a laundrette. Other shops in the village include an internet cafe, jewellery maker, gift shops, Post Office, estate agent and numerous galleries. There is also an excellent medical centre and the local hospital.

There are a range of places to eat in the area ranging from café style to pub grub to seafood restaurants. If you don’t want to travel too far, there is a restaurant right next door offering good food to suit most tastes.
