Our four star bed and breakfast accommodation is half a mile from Bridport town centre. We have two en suite double rooms and a twin room with private facilities (not ensuite). Bridport is just inland from the Jurassic coast between Lyme Regis and Weymouth and is ideally placed for a holiday in West Dorset.
The Gables was built in 1907 by William Saunders Edwards. He was the principal of William Edwards & Son, who specialised in sports nets. They still manufacture the nets for Wimbledon. He was also the Mayor of Bridport 1907-1909 and again in 1917-18, so the house was built to reflect the achievement of a very successful man both in business and politics.
We have plenty of off road parking and the centre of Bridport is a 10 minute stroll so there is no need to take your car out in the evening. We are a television free oasis but have plenty of reading material including magazines and books all about Dorset and the local area. We offer wire free internet access to your laptop.
