Broadford Attractions

Broadford has many fascinating stories to reveal, not least that of the invention of Drambuie by local man James Ross, in the Broadford Hotel in the 19th century. Framed by our beautiful mountain, Beinn na Caillich, the hill of the Old Woman, the village blends modern amenities with old world charm. Visit galleries, lovely jewellery, craft and woollen shops, or buy delicious edible gifts from the fish smoke house. Handle the snakes in the Serpentarium or take a boat trip out into the Bay to see the seals. Why not make use of the newly renovated laundrette in the village?

We are fortunately close to a variety of eating places. Guests can enjoy excellent local food within easy walking distance of our house. We are sure the village can please all palates and pockets!

B&B Location

The village of Broadford is easily accessible by road, rail and air being just 9 miles from the Scotrail Station at Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland and on the bus routes from Glasgow and Inverness. Tigh a' Chroisean is in the Blackpark area of Broadford, set just off the main road.
