Dun Aoibhinn House is situated a pleasant 5 minute walk from Galway City Centre, the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) and University College Hospital Galway (UCHG). It is also within easy walking distance of Salthill Beach and attractions. Located on St Mary's Road in the heart of Galway City, there are ample private safe parking facilities.

Dun Aoibhinn House is an ideal base from which to enjoy the Capital of the West of Ireland and its beautiful surroundings. Staying here you will be in a perfect central location, with no need to waste money on taxis or buses.

The Guesthouse has many of its original features including original polished floorboards, sash windows, feature fireplaces, high ceilings, stained glass doors, original varnished doors, architraves, and tiled hallways, giving it a beautiful authentic character while also furnished with all modern amenities.

All our rooms include a Continental Breakfast served in room. All our rooms are equipped with refrigerators and tea/coffee making facilities. We also provide a selection of complimentary biscuits and Ballygowan bottled water.

Every possible amenity on the doorstep...There is also a convenience store, local pub, Chinese Restaurant, DVD rental store, pharmacy and Doctors surgery all within 100m of the Guesthouse.

We also sell tickets for tours including Aran islands ferry tickets and Galway walking tours. Pickup will be arranged at house if necessary.

Galway is located on the West Coast of Ireland. it is easily accessible by road, rail, sea or air transport.

When you are coming into Galway from the Dulin road you will come to a pub/restaurant on the left side of the road called the Huntsman inn,turn left here and travel along the road to the docks.
You will then see a sign for Salthill / city centre,continue driving along ,you will pass spanish arch,oppsite you will see Jurys hotel.
Go past Jurys Hotel over the Bridge. Turn right immediately after the Bridge at Harvest Off licence/Ladbrokes betting shop.
Go straight onto lower Dominick street, Monroes Pub will be on your left. Go past the Roisin Dubh Pub where you will come to a fork in the road, turn right onto Henry Street, go straight on this road until you come to Traffic lights at Cookes Corner, turn left.
The House is on the left hand side.
