Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Greenbanks Bed and Breakfast (Midway Dereham and Swaffham) ideal for the Coast, the city of Norwich and the Brecks.

Relax in the comfort of our double/twin bedded en-suite rooms or one of 5 ground floor suites accommodating from 2 – 5 guests.

The ground floor suites offer access for all and have shower/wet rooms.

Your enjoyment of our accommodation is at the top of our agenda so all rooms are equipped with hair dryers and TV with freeview channels.

Soft luxury linen, throws and extra pillows to guarantee a comfortable stay and a great night's sleep.

All our bathrooms provide shampoos and soaps and other toiletries are available such as toothpaste, sewing kits, etc.

As a guest of the hotel you are invited to use the indoor heated hydro-therapy pool, sauna and spa facilities which may be booked at the reception.

On site fishing, heated swimming pool, restaurant, full wheelchair access and 10 acres of meadows ideal for keen bird watchers.

Local produce for restaurant meals. Special diets catered for including: coeliac, diabetics, vegetarians etc.

 

Dereham Attractions

 
Norfolk is a place of ancient heathlands, mysterious marshlands and haunting forests. Silhouetted against the Brecks skies are unique belts of twisted Scots pine.

In Thetford Forest - the largest lowland pine forest in Britain, you can follow waymarked trails, cycle the nework of cycle routes or picnic at designated spots of natural beauty. Walk for miles through the trees and bracken spotting a grazing Muntjac or a hiding Pheasant.

Why not visit the ancient flint mines, water gardens or the grand halls, house and great estates of the National Trust. Englands first whiskey disillery, private breweries and vineyards with free tours and tastings!

Visit the local Rural Life Museum with animal farm and an amazingly restored workhouse.

We are also only a half an hours drive from the North Norfolk Coast and Great Yarmouth.

Lenwade Dinosaur Park is only 40 minutes away from us and is a great day out for all the family.

Norfolk is simply a great place to get out and explore and Greenbanks Hotel is positioned ideally in the ‘Heart of the County’ for touring, wherever you wish to go!
