Le-Trayas Bed & Breakfast is located in the ancient Cinque Port Town of Sandwich, which is circled by wonderful medieval architecture dating back centuries. This tranquil location is surrounded by fantastic links golf courses. Amongst them being, Royal Cinque Ports at Deal and the two famous Sandwich courses, Princes and Royal St Georges, the venue of the British Open Golf Championship in 2011.

This spacious bungalow provides visitors with a warm and comfortable welcome. The accommodation comprises of a double bed en-suite room and a twin room with adjacent bathroom There is ample car parking and a guest lounge with Wi-fi access to the internet. On arrival, a welcome tray will be provided and teas and coffees are available in abundance, until departure. Sandwich is close to the Cathedral City of Canterbury where a feast of exciting shopping can be found. The Ferry Port of Dover is only 13 miles and the Channel Tunnel is 24 miles, an ideal stopover location for a day trip to France.
Le-Trayas is a wonderful setting from which to explore the Saxon Shore Walk and the lovely surrounding countryside.

 

Sandwich Attractions

 
The Sandwich Guildhall found in the market square as a unique museum showing artifacts dating back centuries. Also, one of the smallest Court Rooms which is still used today, is well worth a visit.

Richborough Fort can be found 1½ miles from Sandwich. This site represents where the Romans invaded Britain in AD 47. Today, the remains of the fortifications can be seen and there is a very interesting museum controlled by British Heritage.

Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory can be found on-route to Sandwich Bay. There are many varieties of birds, flora and fauna to be seen, many rare.

The Rare Species Conservation Centre is well worth a visit it has wonderful collection of unusual animals, café and gift shop.

The larger towns of Deal, Dover and Thanet (Ramsgate, Broadstairs & Margate) and their shops and entertainments are within easy reach by road or rail.
