Bed and Breakfast Description

Croeso is the Welsh word for Welcome, and a warm welcome awaits you at the Oasis Hotel, a small family hotel owned and personally managed by David and Ann, a well known and popular couple in Llandudno with over twenty years hotelier experience.

The Oasis is renowned for it’s convivial atmosphere and the friendly personal service offered by your hosts.

The sixteen spacious delightfully appointed en-suite bedrooms are sure to please our most discerning guests, with our front bedrooms enjoying the most beautiful panoramic views of Llandudno bay. Naturally, all rooms contain a colour t.v., tea and coffee making facilities and a radio/alarm clock. Wireless conection available.

A tastefully decorated residents’ lounge is situated on the ground floor where our guests can relax an unwind watching the world go by, enjoy a good book or savour the beautiful scenery that encapsulates the essence of glorious Llandudno.

Perhaps the real jewel in the Oasis’ crown is the charming basement bar, lounge and dining room where David’s legendary breakfasts and evening meals are served, and where many a guest has spent a convivial evening chatting with fellow visitors or being regaled by your hosts David and Ann.

In the bar area is a pool table where David can often be found proving he is a much better chef than he is a pool player.

The Oasis Hotel is also a member of the Out To Play Golf scheme which entitles any golfers among our guests to a special discount deal on many excellent local courses of 2 Green Fees for the price of one !!!

Llandudno Attractions

Llandudno is an exciting place that is both lively and beautiful, with its beaches set beneath the towering headland of the Great Orme. The Orme has the finest scenery and views in North Wales. You can reach the 679ft summit by the longest cable operated tramway in Britain, by cable car or for the more energetic on foot. The Orme is famous for its very wide and diverse varieties of wild flowers, butterflies and bird life. Other attractions include 4000 year old copper mines that you can visit and where you explore underground passages that lead to a Bronze Age cavern.Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the sky and snowboard centre on the lower slopes with its artificial ski slope and 700 metre toboggan run.

Literary lovers and aficionados of Alice in Wonderland might be interested to learn that Llandudno is the resort where the real Alice in Wonderland (Alice Liddell) spent her childhood summers, and in the Alice in Wonderland Centre you can venture down the rabbit hole and re live her adventures!

Bodafon Farm incorporates some unusual farm animals including George Clooney’s favorite housemate pot-bellied pigs, alpacas, highland cattle, deer and llamas. Tractor and trailer rides can be arranged to take you round and children can gain some hands on experience of handling smaller animals such as owls and rabbits.

Oriel Mostyn caters for art lovers where many famous works of art, sculpture and photography are exhibited. Experience the sights and sounds of civilian life during the Second World War at the World War Two Home Front Experience.

The 1500 seat North Wales Theatre provides a very varied programme of top quality acts and performers ranging from rock to opera throughout the year.

While being North Wales’ premier holiday resort, Llandudno is also the main retail centre in the area. There are numerous restaurants in the resort, covering many styles of cuisine, many popular public houses and exciting nightclubs.
