The Black Lion Hotel is quietly located 1 mile from Strata Florida abbey, in the stunning scenery of Mid-West Wales and is 20 minutes drive from Aberystwyth. It is the ideal bed and breakfast base for walkers, fishermen, cyclists, nature and history lovers. Indeed it has offered a warm and friendly base to drovers, pilgrims and travellers for centuries.
Our Hotel has an original coach house and stables annexe within the court Yard, converted to guest bedrooms some years ago. These have been completely refurbished, including the installation of double glazed windows, heated towel rails and new showers.

The large family room has a DVD player and its own sunny patio area with views over the large garden. All rooms have a free car parking space allocated.
