Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Victorian former Coach House is picturesque and secluded at the end of a long driveway. We have a quiet location offering peace and relaxation in the heart of Bournemouth. A woodpecker is regularly seen in the garden.

It is hard to believe that this hidden away bed and breakfast cottage is so close to Bournemouth town centre. Coach House Cottage caters for holiday and corporate visitors alike offering a warm welcome in an attractive and friendly comfortable home. So for a change from the impersonal accommodation other places offer come and try Coach House Cottage bed and breakfast.

Both rooms are comfortably appointed with ensuite, LCD digital televisions offering freeview channels, DVD player, small fridge and tea making facilities. The double bed is king size for your comfort and the spacious bathroom to the room upstairs boasts a bath and a separate shower.

The ground floor offers an ensuite room with shower. There is an added bonus of its own conservatory to relax in. For those who do not like stairs this is the ideal room for you. It has its own separate entrance for complete privacy. Breakfast is usually served in the comfort of your own room at the time of your choosing from 8-9.30. There is the option of breakfasting outside in the summer in one of our courtyards (weather permitting!). A romantic package of Champagne and Chocolates, from £35.00, is available on request.

Coach House Cottage has a peaceful "rural feel" setting, yet is only a ten minute walk to Bournemouth's beach, shops and restaurants. You are assured of a warm welcome at Coach House Cottage from the resident owner and her two cats.

If you are looking for a weekend, midweek break or longer holiday you are sure to enjoy the comforts of Coach House Cottage. The delights of the beach, shops, restaurants, and entertainment are a ten-minute walk away. Take in a show at the BIC, savour in the extensive choice of restaurants that Bournemouth has to offer. Coach House Cottage is the ideal location to enjoy a city break by the sea yet conviently close to Southhampton to enjoy the shopping at West Quay or at any one of the numerous high street shops within Bournemouth itself.

For those looking for a more active holiday we are ideally placed for those visitors who will be riding the waves at Bournemouth’s new Artificial Surf Reef and those who want to watch this thrilling sport.

Bournemouth has seven miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches. When you have had enough sunbathing or relaxing enjoy a stroll or land train ride along one of the world's safest, cleanest beaches to Hengistbury Head in the East or Poole to the West. For the more energetic take a swim or join in with numerous water sports. On Friday nights in the summer enjoy a spectacular firework display on the pier.

As well as every Wednesday in the summer, the Gardens come alight with colour as candles illuminate the evening sky. Bournemouth has been popular for many years due to its temperate climate and high sunshine record. The town centre is a bustling shoppers Mecca, often complete with Continental and Farmers markets. By night it comes alive with the many restaurants, bars and clubs.

By Plane
Buses connect Bournemouth Airport with the Travel Interchange where you can transfer to Bournemouth Train Station or the National Express and Flight Link services. Alternatively Southampton Airport is equally close by and is well connected by Bus, Train and road network.

By Train and Coach
From Train Station/Travel Interchange exit right for 200m, cross Holdenhurst Road and turn right. Head towards roundabout, turn left along Saint Swithun's Road. Take 1st left into Annerley Road. Coach House Cottage is on left hand side at the end of the drive.

By Car
From A338 follow signs to East Cliff (ASDA and station on your left) along St. Paul's Road into St Swithun's Road South. At St. Swithun's roundabout turn left into Christchurch Road A35. Take 1st left into Annerley Road. Coach House Cottage is on left hand side at the end of the drive.
