We offer luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the heart of 1066 Country, close to the historic towns of Rye, Winchelsea, Battle and Hastings.
Surrounded by unspoilt countryside yet only a mile from the beaches at Pett Level and panoramic cliff walks at Fairlight, a visit to Stream House offers an ideal rural retreat from the rush of modern life.
Originally three cottages, the house is full of character with oak beams and inglenook fireplaces. Every care and attention has been given to ensure your comfort and enjoyment. You are guaranteed a warm welcome and we encourage an informal relaxed atmosphere with freedom to come and go as you please.
We offer:
Spacious bedroom suite with large bathroom, luxurious deep bath, separate shower cubicle, his and hers sinks, shaver point. Pretty, relaxing double bedroom overlooking the stream, antique furnishings, en-suite bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower.
Twin room with adjoining private bathroom full of character with sloping ceilings, archway to raised bath, power shower, shaver point.
TVs, beverage trays, hair dryers, toiletries and many thoughtful additions

Rye Attractions |

Stream House is an ideal base for touring Sussex with its many castles,gardens,pretty towns and villages.
Rye and Hastings are popular places to visit and for walkers Hastings Country park is not to be missed.
Gardens such as Great Dixter and Sissinghurst are easily accessible whilst Batemans, Hever Castle,Leeds Castle, Dover Castle and Ightam Moat are also very popular with guests.
A day in London is easily done or even a trip to France.
Stream house is close to the beaches at Pett Level and Winchelsea and Camber Sands is a short drive.
There are several places to eat nearby in traditional English country pubs. A visit to Stream House provides something for everyone and we pride ourselves on our hospitality and attention to guest comfort. |

From London (21):
From the M25 at J5, take the A21 south, past Tunbridge Wells, towards Hastings in East Sussex.
Several miles after the Battle roundabout, you will see Claremont School on your left and, soon after, a bridge over the road. Turn right immediately under the bridge, then right again bringing you over the same bridge - signposted Folkestone (A259).
Follow this road (The Ridge) for nearly 10 minutes to traffic lights - turn right into a shopping area, then almost immediately sharp left onto Fairlight Road (by the Co-op).
Follow this road for just over 5 minutes. After descending a steep hill you enter Fairlight village. Continue on the road until it again descends steeply. Then turn left into Stream House B & B immediately after the 'Road Narrows' sign (opposite Leather Waggon).
From Ashford (M20):
Leave the M20 at junction 10 and follow signs for A2070 (Brenzett). Continue on A2070 until Brenzett roundabout. Continue straight on, joining the A259 (Rye). As you enter Rye, turn left at the mini roundabout, signposted A259 (Winchelsea).
After leaving Rye and driving into the countryside, take the next left to Winchelsea Beach. Stay on this road through Winchelsea Beach and Pett Level.
After passing a right turning to Pett, drive on into countryside for about a mile. Then, after a sharp right bend, turn right into Stream House B and B immediately after the 'Road Narrows' sign (opposite Leather Waggon).
Note: if driving from Dover, follow signs for A20 (London). A20 leads on to the M20. Leave the M20 at junction 10 and follow directions as above.
