Each bedroom has LCDTV & DVD player, tea and coffee making facilites, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. A cot is available for anyone staying with little ones. Each guest has full use of a guest lounge which doubles up as the breakfast room in the mornings.

When you first arrive at Ty Draw Farm you will be greeted with a warm welcome, and our friendly, relaxed atmosphere will help you settle in. Our breakfasts are full and wholesome, with a choice of cereals, fresh grapefruit, yoghurt and fruit juice to start, following on with the Ty Draw Brecwast Fawr (Big Breakfast). Using the best of local ingredients and locally produced bacon and sausages wherever possible, our breakfast will set you up for the rest of the day. Alternatively perhaps you may prefer a lighter option such as scrambled eggs, omlette or beans on toast. Please feel free to discuss with us any special requirements you may have.

For lunch we would be happy to provide you with a packed lunch at an additional cost, and for your evening meal there is a choice of several pubs, restaurants and take-aways within the valley and further afield. We are able to provide evening meals but with with prior arrangement.

Ty Draw Farm provides an excellent base for you to explore and discover the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Rhondda Valley either on foot or by mountain bike. The Coed Morgannwg Way and Skyline/Route 47 are cose by.

Exploring on horseback is however an excellent way of discovering the upper Rhondda Fawr, and provides challenging rides for the more experienced rider.

In 2011 we intend to provide a B&B service for horse riders, so that they can bring their horses on holiday with them.

We are situated within a 20 minute drive of the Brecon Beacons National Park, whilst Cardiff and the M4 are some 30 miles to the South. We are centrally located within the South Wales Valleys with Swansea, Newport, Brecon, Carmarthen and Abergavenny being only about an hour's drive away. We are also ideally placed for the more adventurous holiday maker, with many taking advantage of the surrounding countryside for activities such as horseriding, paragliding, handgliding, and caving.

We are idealy based to tour the South East of Wales, from Swansea to the west, to Brecon and Abergavenny to the north, Cardiff and the South Glamorgan coast to the south and the Gwent Valleys to the east, all of which are within an hour's drive. There is plenty to see and do, by visting castles, historic houses, and museums such as Cyfarthfa Castle in Merthyr Tydfil, Welsh Folk Museum at St Fagans, and Tredegar House in Newport. A favourite visitor attracton in the area is Llancaiach Fawr Mansion which is reputedly to be one of the most haunted houses in the country.

The Rhondda Valley has several places to visit such as The Rhondda Heritage Centre, Penderyn Distillery Visitor Centre, and the famous Grogg Shop, where you can buy hand crafted figurines of your favourite sportsperson or celebrity.

Guests will have a choice of a number of leisure centres and swimming pools in the area. Treherbert has a swimming pool, whilst there are leisure centres in Ystrad and Ferndale. For the younger ones there are two small play parks within the village.
