A uniquely situated 7-bedroomed hotel overlooking the beautiful Monsal Dale in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The balconies of the hotel provide conservatories for the Dale bedrooms so you can enjoy the panoramic views whatever the weather.

The Hotel is situated 3 miles from Bakewell, twenty miles from J29 of the M1, within 1 hour of Manchester, East Midlands and Sheffield airports. The Hotel gives a relaxed atmosphere with which to retire after a busy day walking around the Peak District National Park.

All rooms are en-suite. All rooms have Colour TV, tea / coffee making facilities. Family, Twin and Triple rooms. The Ashford Room overlooking picturesque Longstone Edge offers a comfortable residents lounge.

The Longstone Restaurant is open every evening from 6pm during the season, and all day Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. It seats up to 60 people for dining and 110 people for parties.

The Hotel complex boasts it's own real ale pub, The Stables. A cosy pub converted from the original stables for the hotel, it still has the original flag floor and large roaring fire. It also provides an excellant choice of 13 cask ales and lagers, and with Real German Biers available by the bottle, you'll never be short of a selection. Wine is served by the glass or the bottle.

 

Bakewell Attractions

 
Bakewell, local market town, home to the famous Bakewell Pudding.
Chatsworth House, home to the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire. House, Gardens, Farmyard and Playground are all open to the public.

Haddon Hall is a 15th Century Hall which has been used for several periodic films and TV programmes.

Eyam, this tragic village where the Great Plague of 1665 which travelled up from London was contained by the courageous villagers.

Well dressings in most villages in the Peak District National Park throughout the summer.

Monsal Dale, one of the finest views in Derbyshire, has the River Wye running through the Dale and under the railway viaduct and on into Bakewell. The Hotel is an ideal central location for walking and climbing holidays.
