Bed and Breakfast Description

 

The Town House Conwy provides high quality bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation.

The house was built during the Victorian era circa 1849 and lovingly refurbished to a high standard by the present owners Alan & Elaine to ensure that our guests have a pleasurable experience when staying with us.

Our accommodation consists of 5 beautifully decorated and fully double glazed rooms.

Each room is serviced by the owners on a daily basis, and fully equipped with soaps, towels, shampoo, body wash, hairdryers, radio alarms and dvd tv's.

Tea, coffee and various drinks and biscuits are provided on the well stocked hospitality trays.

A full and efficient central heating system ensures that whatever the conditions the Town House remains a warm and friendly enviroment.

Ironing and drying facilities are readily available.

Our cleanliness and quality of service has been recognised by the Wales Tourist Board (WTB) who have given the Town House a 4 Star quality rating. The proprietors hold the Gold award from the WTB for the Welcome Host Scheme, and the Gold award from the Conwy County Council for a completely smoke free environment. An ideal place to locate yourself for exploring North Wales and the many attractions of Snowdonia.

Private parking is also available at no cost.

Manchester International and Liverpool John Lennon Airport are only 90 minute away.

Access to Conwy is now easier than ever, the M56 motorway joining with the A55 which is the main coastal route through North Wales.

By rail, regular main line services run from London, Birmingham and Manchester some direct to Conwy and some with a connecting shuttle service from Llandudno Junction (15 to 20 minute walk across the river estuary bridge from Conwy).

The Town House is situated approximately 2 minutes level walk from the Conwy Railway Station. On leaving the station ( which is unmanned) you will be in Rosehill Street, three red telephone boxes face you, turn right and we are just around the corner on the left past the Malt Loaf public house.

By road or foot, on entering Conwy across the estuary bridge, you will see the castle on your left, there is a small traffic island in front of it . Go straight across the island into the one-way traffic system, a large Pay and Display car park is on your left, as you pass the car park The Town House is situated directly on your right.

If you enter Conwy from the direction of Caernavon, you will travel through the Arch in the Town Walls and up Castle Street (the castle is directly in front of you), as you reach the end of Castle Street turn right and pass the Pay and Display car park on your left. As you reach the end of the car park The Town House is situated on your right.
