Welcome to Holly Cottage and to our home, where we strive to offer quality en-suite B&B accommodation in a relaxed and informal manner whilst ensuring your needs are catered for.
We are located in Pilsley village at the heart of the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire’s glorious Peak District. Chatsworth House is one mile from Pilsley and the renowned Chatsworth farm shop is located within the village.
Bakewell, home of the world famous “Bakewell Pudding”, is three miles away and is easily accessible by public transport or by a relaxed walk through quiet lanes if you would prefer. Holly Cottage is perfect for a Bakewell bed and breakfast.
The splendours of the Peak District are on our doorstep with local villages, glorious scenery, relaxed and energetic walks, magnificent stately homes and other tourist attractions are all close by along with some fantastic places to eat.
Whether you are coming specifically to see Chatsworth or explore further afield, Holly Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore.
We have three cosy, well furnished and decorated rooms, described as “impeccably clean” by the AA during a recent inspection when awarding us our 4 star status.
Rooms are available from 4pm on your day of arrival and we ask that you vacate by 10.15 on your day of departure.
To secure a room, a non refundable deposit of £20 per room is required, this can be by cheque or credit/debit card
To ensure the comfort of all of our guests both current and in the future, and despite the fact that we love dogs, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate them. You are of course, welcome to leave them in your car overnight and we can advise of many walks suitable for exercising your dog.
Similarly, the cottage is totally non smoking. |
