Situated in the heart of Derbyshire, Wyedale House Bed and Breakfast in Bakewell is an ideal base to explore the beautiful scenery, colourful villages and historic sites that the Peak National Park has to offer.

A warm welcome awaits you at Wyedale Bed and Breakfast where David and Gill offer comfortable accommodation, along with a full English or vegetarian breakfast.

We offer a choice of three rooms all of which are tastefuly decorated and have en-suite facilities, Televisions, refreshment trays and towels. We are a non-Smoking Establishment.

We have a choice of three bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities: - One Family Room, One Double Room, One Twin Room.

All of our rooms are tastefully decorated, well furnished and equipped with the following :- En-Suite facilities, Television, Refreshment Trays. Unlike other properties Wyedale house is set back from the main road therefor we do not suffer from traffic noise,ensuring a peaceful stay.

 

Bakewell Attractions

 
Bakewell itself boasts a host of places of interest, including The Old House Museum and the Parish Church.

Bakewell is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and countryside. The historic houses of Chatsworth (3 miles) and Haddon Hall (1 mile away) are well worth a visit.

The Peak National Park has many places of interest. The plague village of Eyam, the caves at Castleton and The Heights of Abraham, Matlock, are just a few.

The location of Bakewell lends itself idealy to being a base for many activities.

Walking, The Monsal Trail runs from just east of Bakewell station to Blackwell Mill, a few miles downstream of Buxton on the river Wye.

Cycling, there are many great areas to cycle in, either on or off road.

Photography, Spectacular varied scenery.

Viewing historic buildings such as Chatsworth House & Peveril Castle.
Climbing, a vast array of areas in which to climb. Touring by car. Or just a relaxing sight seeing trip thoughout the Peak National Park.
