Enjoy a warm Welsh hospitality on our 100 acre mixed working farm, which parts of dates back over 350 years. You can be sure of a warm welcome at Rhydydefaid Farm, with refreshments and a homemade cake on your arrival.
The farm (The name means "The Sheep Ford" in English) has pasture land, rough grazing, woodlands and rivers. It is a comfortable, traditional, Welsh stone built farmhouse where guests can relax and unwind in our oak beamed lounge with it's impressive inglenook fireplace, with woodburning stove and colour TV, or just sit in our conservatory and take in the peace and tranquility which is always on hand in the Snowdonia National Park. Both Welsh and English are spoken by Mrs. Davies and her family.
Rhydydefaid Farm has four letting bedrooms, all of which are tastfully decorated. All rooms are centrally heated, have tea and coffee making facilities, and radio alarm clocks. You will enjoy a hearty traditional Welsh cooked breakfast made from locally purchased produce and home-made jams and marmalade, served in our cosy, attractively furnished and decorated dining room on separate tables. We also cater for special diets. |
