Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Eifionydd is a large, spacious 6 bedroom house of unique design offering all the comforts of home for our guests. We aim to provide the best in quality that this area of Wales and the Welsh have to offer. The three guest rooms are on the first floor with wide staircase and handrail on both sides. Spacious parking area on level tarmac courtyard close to the front door. Assistance is given with luggage.

The Guest Rooms: the rooms are furnished to a very high standard each with en-suite facilities, central heating, remote T.V. hair-drier, clock radio, beverage tray, wine glasses & bottle opener, and comfortable seating area.

Well tended gardens surround the house, with the patio being a wonderful sun trap on warm days. You can watch a variety of birds and a pair of ducks on the river. Maybe spot a pair of kingfishers if your lucky! The sheep and cattle grazing on the riverside meadows and paddling through the river.

 

Bala Attractions

 
Situated in the rural village of Llanuwchllyn at the foot of the Aran Mountain with the river Dee and fields to the rear and on level ground. A spectacular area of the Snowdonia National Park within an hour's drive to the foot of Snowdon.
 

B&B Location
 
From the north, follow M56 and A55 to North Wales. Join the A494 at Ewloe. From the east follow the M54 then the A5 to Corwen where you join the A494. From South Wales, follow the A470 to Dolgellau then join the A494.

Llanwchllyn is on the A494 road, 5 miles from Bala and 12 miles from Dolgellau. Within 20 yards of entering the village of Llanuwchllyn, take a left turn where you see the Eifionydd B & B sign.
