Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Situated on a working dairy farm, the Granary is in a very peaceful rural location yet only five minutes drive from Junction 25 of the M4 and 25mins from Cardiff city centre.

The Snug - A self contained annex to the barn which sleeps five, comprises... living room / kitchen area with open stairs to double bedroom with en-suite shower room and separate WC. Living room includes a single bed, double sofa bed, Sky TV and video. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and electric hob. Cot and high chair are available. You have bed & breakfast with the added advantage of extra living space and being able to self cater for your evening meals. Reductions for children. Prices negotiable for a longer stay.

The Loft - The loft over the single storey kitchen and living room has two inter-connecting bedrooms and a bathroom. It has a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Suitable for families, will sleep five. B&B only.

The Den - The Den is a smaller version of The Snug, at the rear of the barn. There is a double and a single bed on a mezzanine floor above the kitchen/ sitting area, which is fully equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, electric hob, mini oven,Sky TV and DVD player. En-suite shower room downstairs.

 

Llanhennock Attractions

 
If you enjoy rambling, cycling or even a gentle drive in the car, there are miles of beautiful lanes to wander through. We have very good local knowledge and maps of some beautiful and challenging walks and cycle routes that we have tried, for both the experiences walkers and the family groups who would just like a gentle stroll.

Beautiful views across the Usk Valley of the Celtic Manor Ryder Cup Golf Course and the village of
Caerleon.

A gentle stroll across the field takes you to our local village pub, which serves traditional country lunches and real ales. Or Brian might even give you a lift in the car to save you drink driving (if you buy him a pint!)

We are only a mile and a half from the Roman town of Caerleon...
Visit the Roman Baths, Amphitheatre, Barracks and Museum...
Plenty of pubs and restaurants...
Municipal golf course...
Childrens parks...
Shops, Library and Post Office.

From M4 Motorway( westbound):
Off Junction 25 of the M4
Follow signs to Caerleon (2 miles)
Over Caerleon river bridge
Drive through the one-way system
of Caerleon village to a mini-roundabout
Go straight across towards Usk
After one mile take first right hand turn up the hill (signposted Llanhennock).
200 metres up hill turn right
Half a mile along the lane - you're there!

From M4 Motorway (eastbound):
Off junction 26 of the M4
(Junction 25 is closed to eastbound traffic)
Take the 3rd exit and follow signs to Caerleon at the next 2 roundabouts. This will take you on a flyover back to the junction 25 roundabout.
Then follow the directions as above to Caerleon
River bridge etc. ...

From Usk Exit of A449:
Drive through Usk main street.
Turn left after crossing Usk Bridge.
Drive approx 7 miles.
Turn sharp left bend up hill (signposted Llanhennock)
200 metres up hill turn right.
Half a mile along the lane - you're there!

Nearest Railway Station: Newport  (4  Miles)
