Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Welcome to Henllys Estate Bed & Breakfast.

One of the Estate buildings, within a stone walled courtyard, has been tastefully converted into bed and breakfast accommodation. All the rooms have oak floors, exposed beams and are light and airy. The four rooms on the ground floor each have their own stable door giving access to the garden and seating area. The superior double room, on the first floor, has a kingsize bed, exposed oak beams and a large bathroom with a bath and shower.

Guests can enjoy walks in the 12 acres of broadleaved woodland and fishing on the trout lake and river Towy.

 

Llandovery Attractions

 
As well as the gardens in front of the accommodation, guests have access to 12 acres of ancient broadleaved woodland and the estate lake.

A walk of about one mile is laid out through the woodland, made up of boardwalk and woodchip paths. The walk and the lake are very peaceful and with seating areas are ideal for picnics, painting or just sitting down and watching the wildlife go about its business.

Day tickets are available for fishing the lake and the river Towy nearby is renowned for its seatrout and salmon fishing.

Turn left toward M4 0.1 mi
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the M4 ramp to Port Talbot 0.2 mi
Merge onto M4 41.0 mi
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A48 heading to Carmarthen/Caerfyrddin/Cross Hands
