Elmdale Garden Bed and Breakfast is tucked away in a quiet corner of the beautiful unspoilt waterside town of Manningtree on the Essex Suffolk boarder.
A perfect place to stay relax and unwind and be spoilt.We source fresh local ingredients ( mainly organic) for our delicious breakfasts whenever possible including bacon from nearby Jimmy's farm.
Several excellent restaurants all within walking distance including the award winning Mistley Thorn Restaurant and the new Italian Lucca with its wood fired oven, the only one in Essex and Suffolk. Wine and dine over looking the beautiful Stour Estuary.
Bird watching, sailing, cycling or walking, this is a perfect place to stay.

Walk The Essex Way from the top of our drive, explore Flatford Mill and Dedham which are on our doorstep in historic Constable Country.
Stroll down to the Stour Estuary which is just 5 minutes from our door step. Charter an old Thames barge for a day trip to Harwich. Enjoy lunch on board whilst sailing and taking in the stunning views of the countryside.
Beth Chatto's gardens are just 15 minutes drive away.
Harwich Port, Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town with it's Norman castle and Ipswich are all within a 15 minute drive.
