|
We have an excellent location in the centre of Westport so park the car and walk to Matt Molloys, Tobys or Westports other great bars (most with traditional music), excellent restaurants, hotels and leisure centres. We are also close to the train station, bus stops and the Castlecourt Hotel.
All bedrooms have high ceilings with a touch of old world elegance and each has en-suite, TV & Tea/Coffee facilities. We are a non-smoking house.
We will gladly advise on restaurants in Westport, day trips to Westport House, Achill Island, Croagh Patrick, Clare Island, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey etc. Please email us with details of your request.
We are approved by the Irish Tourist Board (Bord Fáilte)and are a member of Town & Country Homes Association. We are recommended by Rick Steves guidebooks. |

We are right in the heart of Westport, no cars, no taxis, no buses needed. Just stroll along Westports tree lined river ('The Mall') that runs through the centre of town and feed the ducks, do some fishing, read a book, sip a beer or window shop and chit-chat with the locals. The choice is yours.
We are easy strolling distance from all the bars, restaurants, cinema, leisure centres, hotels, train station, bus stops, shops, banks, post office, internet cafes. |

From Dublin/Sligo/Donegal/Castlebar: turn left at 1st traffic lights, outside the Castlecourt hotel, onto Distillery road. Drive to the end of that road. Stop at mini-roundabout, vw garage on your right, we're on the opposite side of the street facing the garage.
From town centre: drive up the main street, Bridge St, and turn left at the top of the street (big clock) onto Mill St, drive to the end of that street towards vw/mercedes garage, veer right onto Altamount St, we're the 4th house on the right, just to the right of the mini-roundabout.
From Leenane, Connemara, Louisburgh: drive into town centre, past statue of St Patrick, down James St, keep to right and turn right just before the river. Take 1st right up Bridge St and then follow from town centre directions.
