Situated in the heart of a historical thriving market town of Abergavenny.
A location used by many tourists over the years as the Gateway to Wales.
The Black Lion Guest House is family run business,
which offers a warm and friendly welcome to all,
including cyclists and walkers etc

We have 5 rooms ranging from single rooms to a family room,

All rooms have ample storage, TV DVD and own Sky,

We operate a Courtesy Vehicle and also have Free Use of Wi-Fi in all rooms.

 

Abergavenny Attractions

 
REGULAR MARKETS:
These are held in the Market Hall at the top of Cross Street Abergavenny. Antiques and Collectors Fairs are held on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Retail Markets are also held every Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays.
 

B&B Location
 
The Black Lion Guest House is situated on the corner of Hereford Road & Priory Road
just north of the ESSO garage at the traffic lights.
Abergavenny has excellent travel connections, with good roads and excellent rail services. Additionally there are very good local and long-distance buses and coaches.

By Car: The M4 from London, the South-East and Home Counties; the A40 via the Cotswolds, Gloucester and Monmouth; The M6, M5, M50 and A40 from the North and Midlands, or through the Welsh Marches by way of the A449, A465 or A466.
