We are sited next to the village cricket field, with superb views. Calver is in the heart of the Peak District, and situated upon the River Derwent.

Hope Valley Attractions

 
Valley View is central to many attractions and within minutes of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and many more. Ideally situated to visited the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales.

Haddon Hall a beautifully preserved medieval manor house.

The bustling market town of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell Puddings, is 5 miles away and Haddon Hall, is only a short distance away.

In the historic village of Eyam (2 miles), where, during 1665, the plague came to from London in a box of cloth, visit Eyam Hall.

Castleton, the gem of the Peak with it's Blue-John Cavern attracts visitors from all over the world.

FROM CHESTERFIELD OR THE (M1) MOTORWAY:
-Leave the Motorway at Junction 29 then follow the brown coloured signs for "Chatsworth House" taking you through Chesterfield.
-Take the A619 to the roundabout in Baslow, then the A623 towards Chapel-en-le-frith.
-Follow this road for approximately two miles into the village of Calver, taking the third turning left into Donkey Lane.
-We are situated on the corner of Donkey Lane and Smithy Knoll Road.

FROM SHEFFIELD:
-Take the A621 from Sheffield to Baslow, then follow the above directions.

FROM MANCHESTER:
-Take the A6 from Manchester to Bakewell
-Leave Bakewell via the A6l9 towards Chesterfield, after about ½ mile take a left turn onto the B6001 towards Calver.
-On reaching the traffic lights at Calver turn right towards Baslow.
-Take the first turning right into Donkey Lane.
-We are situated on the corner of Donkey Lane and Smithy Knoll Road.

BY TRAIN:
-Grindleford Railway Station is about 3 miles away from Calver.
