Blue Horizon B&B is a large comfortable house with home style Bed & Breakfast Hospitality.

The Blue Horizon Bed & Breakfast is superbly located on a hilltop with 180 degrees of breathtaking views of the most beautiful unspoilt southern Irish coast.

We have large comfortable bedrooms all with sea views, some with balconies opening onto the unbelievable view of the bay and Old Head Golf Links.

Local Attractions
The Blue Horizon Bed & Breakfast is surrounded by several rural little villages where the real Irish way of life can be experienced.

The Blue Horizon is also an Irish Traditional Pub serving all beers, spirits.

In the pub locals and tourists meet for a pint of Guinness, a chat and maybe a song. Local musicians regularly provide a lively nights entertainment and travelling musicians are always welcome to join in. On the patio you can sip your beer and enjoy the view of the Horizon by day or the moon beam across the bay by night...

The bay captures 11 miles of the broad Atlantic coastline bounded on the west by the seven heads and the east by the renowned Old Head of Kinsale where the ill-fated Lusitania sank in 1915. The bay contains two blue flag beaches with 2 tennis courts, pitch & putt, several picnic areas and is ideal for angling, surfing, swimming or simple relaxation.

The lofty cliffs with panoramic views and teeming bird life are a nature lover’s paradise.
 

B&B Location
From Dublin and Rosslare on approaching Cork before the tunnel leave the N8 and drop down to slip road N 25 which takes you through the tunnel and onto a round about with traffic lights.

From Cork Then take N 27, which is airport route. At airport round about this road becomes the R600. Follow this road through Kinsale onto Ballinspittle.

On exiting Ballinspittle leave the R600 and follow Garrettstown signs. Blue Horizon is also signed here. When you reach the sea turn right up the hill. It is the first two stories building on the Sea Front.
