Our terraced gardens offer magnificent views across Llangollen and the valley to Castle Dinas Bran and the mountains beyond

Inside Oakmere the original Victorian splendour is reflected in the polished pitch pine and period furniture, all of which combine to produce a relaxing atmosphere of spacious comfort.
The private drive to Oakmere is well signposted and there is ample parking within the grounds.

At the front of the house there is ample private parking for Oakmere residents.

Accommodation for guests is either "ensuite" or with private facilities (bathroom or shower). All rooms are centrally heated and have a colour TV and a radio clock/alarm. Bedroom 4 below features a French 19th century "Louis IV" double bed in carved walnut under a mahogany "ceil de lit".

Tea/Coffee making facilities are provided in all bedrooms and there is a choice of double, twin bedded or family rooms, all with matching decor and period furniture.

Twin bedded ensuite rooms are also available. Bedroom 6 opposite has a restored fireplace, Victorian satin walnut wardrobe & dresser and two seater settee.
The bedroom window looks onto a Panoramic view of Castle Dinas Bran and the Eglwyseg & Minera Mountains beyond.

Bedroom 5 is another twin bedded, ensuite room with two restored 1930's Canadian "Sledge or Sleigh" beds in mahogany. The view from the window offers a panoramic sweep of Llangollen, from the Horseshoe Pass to the Castle of Dinas Bran, the famed resting place of the "Holy Grail".
