Guests are guaranteed a warm welcome at this newly refurbished and immaculately decorated bed and breakfast, offering bright clean rooms with excellent facilities and at extremely competitive prices. Nothing is too much trouble for our guests and we aim to please and provide a good service to all, whether they are staying for one night or one week. We offer off-road parking for up to 6 cars, one double room with en suite and a twin room with own luxury bathroom. These rooms can also be used for single occupancy.
Silver Birch B & B is set in Fulbourn, a large village on the outskirts of Cambridge and within easy reach of the City Centre, Railway Station and Bus Station, which are all a short drive away. Fulbourn itself has very good amenities with 3 pubs offering a good menu at competitive prices, several shops, chemist, post office, Chinese takeaway and an antique shop.
Fulbourn has easy access to all major roads, such as A11, M11 (for M25). A14 (for A1) and A10 and is just 30 minutes from Stansted Airport, 15 minutes from Newmarket for the popular race days and evenings, 15 minutes from Duxford for their spectacular air shows and 15 minutes from the pretty and quaint town of Saffron Walden.
Travel to Cambridge by bus is easy with the bus stop directly opposite the property. Buses run every 20 minutes into the Centre, stopping at Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Railway station en route. For the business and working guests we are very handy for Cambridge Science Park, Capital Park, Ida Darwin and Addenbrooke's Hospital just a 10 minute drive away.
