Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Our accommodation is conveniently located near Haverhill, which is ideal for tourists or business users alike, and anyone who wishes to just enjoy a relaxing evening with fabulous scenic views, and an undisturbed sleep.

We offer two good family-sized rooms with en-suites in our annexe & another double room within the main house, all include tea/coffee making facilities. One room comprises newly refurbished and equipped kitchen area, including a fridge, microwave & toaster. Rooms in the annexe can cater for one, two or three people sharing. All rooms have colour TV & free Wireless Internet access.

A full English breakfast is included within the price of the rooms, if this is not required, or a full-English is not to your liking, we can offer alternatives, and the room rate can be adjusted accordingly.

House-trained pets are allowed but we do just ask that they are not left unattended on the premises (please enquire first).

Haverhill Attractions

 
Kedington is a pretty and sought after village in West Suffolk, about 3 miles from the market town of Haverhill, with its links back to pre-Roman times.

The historic town of Bury St. Edmunds and the university city of Cambridge are both about 25 minutes away by car, plus many more fabulous villages.

Kedington itself has a long history and is mentioned in the Domesday book. Today it has a wide range of amenities some of which include:
A number of shops, including Grocery store; Post Office; Butchers; Chinese Takeaway & two public houses, both serving excellent food. Plus Kedington is a beautiful place to walk around with it's many walking routes, parks & quaint properties, and a beautiful Norman church.

From Haverhill A1307, follows signs into Haverhill, at the two roundabouts take the A143 onto Wratting Road, take the right turn for Kedington onto the B1061. Follow the road into Kedington, take the left turn onto Kings Hill. Follow the road over a small bridge and take the next right onto Rectory Road, follow the road for approximately 800 yards past Barton Grove and Cock Hill (Simms Lane), where Stablecroft can be found on the left-hand corner with signs for Baythorne Lodge.
