POWERSCOURT HOUSE AND GARDENS : a world famous 18th century estate with magnificant mansion and victorian gardens.

WATERFALL : the highest waterfall in Ireland and Britian, set in a deer park against Djouce mountain.

WICKLOW WAY : this is a ramblers trail starting in the outskirts of Dublin and going the full length of County Wicklow. It is a 5 day walk with bed and breakfast accomodation/hostels strategically located along the way. Oaklawn; which is 1km from the trail, is an end of day stop over.

JOHNNIE FOX'S PUB : located in Glencullen about 5km from Oaklawn, Jonnie Fox's is a famous 'Irish' pub combining a fish restaurant and live music.

GOLF : There are many of golf courses in this area with a range of green fee rates. These include world champion class 18 hole, some excellent par 3, pitch and put, and driving ranges.
