Charlie and Boo West welcome you to The Neeld Arms Inn, Grittleton. This 17th century, stone country inn is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the ancient and unspoiled village of Grittleton.
The Neeld Arms is popular for its comfortable and characterful accommodation, broad and varying menu, fine wines and real ales. The relaxed and friendly bar and dining areas retain their historic features.
The Neeld Arms has a good, varying menu of home-cooked English fayre. Wherever possible the food will be locally sourced, and will follow the seasons - during the shooting season, we will have at least one game dish available. We serve a traditional roast lunch every Sunday, whilst keeping the full menu available.
Monday night is our popular Curry night. Each week we prepare a different curry dish, a side dish, and serve them with accompaniments to enjoy in the pub, or to take away. During the week, we serve our lunch menu between 12 and 2.00pm, whilst at weekends, we serve untill 2.30pm. In the evening we start serving at 7.00pm and finish at 9.30pm (Sundays, 9.00pm). Our evening menus are written on the blackboard in the pub and change every two to three weeks.
There aren't many seasonal occasions that the Neeld Arms fails to celebrate in style. It has also invented a few of its own which have now become popular annual events, such as The Caribbean Party, held every Summer! We also salute: Valentine's Day, Easter Monday, St George's Day, Halloween and many more, so check out our events page regularly to make sure you know what's going on at the Neeld Arms!. |
