Bed and Breakfast Description
Welcome to our modern family run bed and breakfast ideally situated on the edge of the village of Corofin, in North West Clare. We have twin, double and family rooms available. Whether your looking for a base to tour the unique landscape of the Burren, somewhere to relax, to enjoy fishing or golf, or take in some music and craic by night, Corofin is the ideal location for a break and we hope you will enjoy your stay with us. The house has been graded 3 Star by Failte Ireland.



Local Attractions
Corofin is an angler's paradise. Inchiquin lake is a short distance from the village and is a wonderful centre for coarse fishing. Boats are available for hire. The river Fergus rises in the Burren and flows through this area on its way to the Shannon estuary. A network of twenty lakes of varying sizes on both the main river and its tributaries form an extensive area of great angling waters. Its high calcium content encourages healthy fish life. Within this area there is a wide range of angling available including salmon, brown trout, pike, perch,bream, tench, rudd and eels. The Irish record for tench, at 3.7 kg. was caught in these waters and has not yet been broken. For golfers the area around Corofin has a number of excellent courses, the famous The Links Course at Lahinch, on which the South of Ireland Golf Championship is played. Lahinch also has the equally challenging 18-hole Castle Course. If you're looking for a challenge try the Doonbeg Golf Club designed by Greg Norman Gort has a new 18-hole course designed by Ryder Cup star, Christy O' Connor Junior Just 8 miles away in Ennis, you can play Ennis Golf Club, and Woodstock Golf and Country Club. From Corofin you can visit many of Clare and Irelands premier tourist attractions including Bunratty Castle and Folk park, Ailwee Cave, Cliffs of Moher, Dysart O'Dea archaelogical centre, Clare museum, Craggaunowen and many more.

Take the R460 exit road to Inagh and its the third house on the left. A 10 minute walk from the village.

From Shannon/Ennis:

From the airport take the exit onto the N19 (signposted Galway, Limerick) N19
At the roundabout take the 1st exit, then merge onto the N18 (signposted Galway, Ennis)
Continue on the N18. Entering Ennis
At mini-roundabout continue forward onto Limerick Road - N18 (signposted All Routes)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Limerick Road - N18 (signposted Galway)
At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Cusack Road - N85 (signposted Ennistymon)
Turn right onto the R476 (signposted Ballyvaughan)
Continue forward onto Ennis Road - R476. Entering Corrofin
