WHITETHORN LODGE is the modern and friendly family home of Anne and Martin O’Connor.
The house is located in a tranquil and secluded setting of the picturesque heritage towns of Ballina and Killaloe, on Lough Derg, within 10 minutes walk of the hotel, restaurants, pubs and shops. It is also an ideal base for touring the counties of Clare, Tipperary, Limerick, Galway and Offaly.
Whitethorn Lodge has four ensuite bedrooms. All rooms are immaculate, and freshly decorated in bright, warm colours. They are extremely spacious— each has a double and single bed—as well as wheelchair friendly bathrooms. Each room also has tea and coffee making facilities and TV.
The breakfast room is bright and cheerful, with a menu to match, offering a buffet style or selection of cooked dishes.
There is a welcoming guest lounge for you to relax in - perfect for a quiet read, to watch TV or to swap stories with other guests about your day’s adventures.
The house has a large, beautifully kept garden and outdoor seating to enjoy the long summer evenings.
