Glocca Morra is situated in Ogonnelloe, Co. Clare, Ireland, with breathtaking views of Lough Derg, the Slieve Bernagh Mountains of Clare and the Arra Mountains of Tipperary.

Glocca Morra B&B has four bedrooms all en suite.

There is a Television in the Guest Lounge equipped with a DVD Player, numerous DVD's and a Library of diverse choices is also featured.

A meandering Private Garden is also accessible to guests.

Glocca Morra B&B is a superb location for the peace and quiet of the Irish countryside, with over an acre of mature gardens, and an ideal base for guests touring Counties Limerick, Clare, Galway and Tipperary.

 

Killaloe Attractions

 
Killaloe/Ballina is situated on the banks of The River Shannon just a short distance below Lough Derg. Killaloe is probably best known as the home of Brian Boru, the High King of Ireland, 1002-1014. Just a short distance from the town of Killaloe stands Brian Boru's Fort, the site of his Castle, Kincora, which was the seat of the High King during his reign.

Directions from Shannon Airport via Ennis Bypass:

From Shannon airport, follow the signs to Galway/Ennis on the N18. After the Ennis turnoff (don't take this one) you will see a turnoff for Scarriff/Lough Derg/Killaloe and the R352. Follow this to the roundabout and take the right turn for the R352 in the direction of Scarriff. Stay on this road in the direction of Portumna until you come into the village of Tuamgraney. After entering Tuamgraney you will see a right turn for Killaloe after an "island." This is the R463. Follow this road until you see a village sign for Ogonnelloe. After this sign continue on for about 1/2km and you'll pass Mickey Rooney's pub, a church on your left, and a sign for the "Lantern House." We are on the right hand side just down from here and have a green with white letteringsign that says Glocca Morra B&B. Welcome to Glocca Morra!
