Willowbrook Bed & Breakfast Accommodation, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Ireland is located on the outskirts of Nenagh town centre on the lakedrive road to Killaloe.
Set in it's own landscaped gardens, Willowbrook Bed & Breakfast offers you an ideal opportunity to relax in peaceful and spacious surroundings away from it all. Take time out to explore the extensive Lough Derg region and become immersed in the easygoing lifestyle which is rural Ireland.
Willowbrook has six rooms of comfortably appointed accommodation to offer our guests.
Each room is individually named and decorated to offer our guests a home away from home feeling, no matter which room they are in. All rooms have en-suite bathroom, T.V/ DVD players, Tea / Coffee facilities, Clock Radios and Hairdryers. We also offer an extensive and free of charge DVD library for our guest use.
Accommodation consists of 2 family bedrooms, 3 double bedrooms and 1 Twin bedded room. This allows us to cater for small or large groups of people who are on business, touring, walking, golfing, sailing , athletics or family occasions etc to a maximum of 16 guests. We do offer to configure our accommodation differently to suit the requirements of our guests.
A good night’s sleep is guaranteed due to orthopaedic beds in all rooms assuring you awake refreshed and ready to tackle another day.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and what better way to start your day than with unspoilt views of the Tipperary countryside and Keeper Hill in the Silvermines mountains or the farm animals going about their day in the parkland meadows outside our dining room or simply enjoy the floral display which nature provides in our gardens. |

Local Attractions
|
Lough Derg, Irelands Pleasure Lake, is just a short distance away and offers all water sport enthusiasts plenty of opportunities to partake in a wide variety of activities such as Skydiving, Sailing Lessons, Yacht Cruises,, sailing craft, sail boarding, wind surfing, sightseeing cruises and cruiser hire which are all available locally. Coarse fishing including boat hire is also catered for.
For the golf enthusiast, there is a multitude of golf courses within 45 minutes drive,with Nenagh golf course, Thurles and Roscrea,18 hole courses within 30 minutes. Nenagh’s 18 hole championship course is 6 miles away where tee off times can be booked in advance.
Walkers are catered for with numerous walks available through the Silvermines Mountains, the Clare Glens, the Slieve Felim way (18 Miles) and the Lough Derg way (20 Miles) all finishing locally. If you would like to take a more leisurely stroll there are a large variety of local walks from 1 mile in length upward, which should suit everyone.
Cycling is well catered for with The Clare Glens cycle (30 Miles), the Holy Cross cycle (28 Miles) and the Keeper Hill cycle (36 Miles) all ready to provide an enjoyable challenge. There are a vast number of variations to the mentioned routes available to suit all levels of enthusiast whether in distance or difficulty. Each route can be customized to suit your individual needs.
Historical sites such as Birr Castle Demesne,, King Johns Castle, Bunratty Castle & Folk park, Clonmacnoise Monastic Site, and the Bog Of Allen railway are all within 1 hour travel time.

Directions from Dublin
Follow N.7 South for Limerick. Pass through Toomevara Village and approx 5 Miles South you will see a sign for Nenagh on your left continue on until you see a second sign for Nenagh / Borrisokane N.52 on your left. Take this exit and arrive at a roundabout. Turn right and 1 mile north arrive at roundabout 2 turn left. Approx 1 mile west arrive at roundabout 3. You will now see a sign for Portroe R.494. turn left, Willowbrook is 200M on Left.
Directions from Midlands / Galway
Follow N.52 south for Limerick. Pass through Borrisokane and continue through Ardcroney. Arrive at roundabout 1. Turn right for Limerick. Continue to roundabout 2. Continue straight to roundabout 3. Turn right for Portroe (R.494), Willowbrook is 200M on left.
Directions from Shannon Airport
Follow N.18 for Limerick and as you approach the city go straight through (SECOsecond exit) the first roundabout junction. Follow signs for Dublin to the left (N.7). continue to follow signs for Dublin and exit the city. Continue for approximately 40Km and you will see signs pointing left for Nenagh (N.52). Turn left and you will arrive at a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit and continue to the next roundabout 2. (Nissan Car dealership on right) take a left here following the N.52 Birr / Borrisokane. Continue to roundabout 3 and take first exit left for Portroe (R.494). Willowbrook is 200 meters on the left.
