Bed and Breakfast Description
Abbey Court Bed and Breakfast is located a short stroll from Kenmare town centre. Our purpose built guesthouse is located on over two acres of landscaped gardens and metres from the sea shore. Abbey Court B&B we are adjacent to Kenmare Golf Course and beside the ruins of Kenmare Abbey. We insure you of a memorable holiday with true Irish hospitality and we are always available to help with travel plans or special requests. Abbey Court is the perfect place to relax in luxurious rooms designed and furnished with your comfort in mind. Our en-suite bedrooms are all individually decorated with beautiful antique pine. The attention to detail echoes the care given. White sheets, warm blankets and fluffy white pillows.



Local Attractions
Kenmare was Ireland's first heritage town, has won many national awards and last year was voted the seventh most popular place in the world to retire to by fortune magazine. Kenmare has it all, whether you are interested in mountain walks, golf, fishing, scuba diving, sailings or horseback riding. You can visit historical sites such as the town's stone circle or Cromwells bridge. At night choose from one of our many restaurants in Ireland's gourmet capital and enjoy some good local life music. The Ring of Kerry is a scenic tour that starts in Kenmare and travels anti-clockwise around the Inveragh peninsula. The length of the route is 175 km and takes you through the most picturesque villages in South West Ireland. Immediately after leaving Kenmare the Ring of Kerry route takes you over Molls Gap and Ladies view along a winding mountain road Molls Gap. From there the route leads you through Killarney National Park to Killarney, Torc waterfall and Ross castle and up to Killorgin. Driving south to Glenbeigh, home of the famous Dooks golf course and further to Cahersiveen, Waterville and back through Caherdaniel and the picturesque village of Sneem. Along the way you have many opportunities to visit historical landmarks such as rock art, Ballycarberry Castle, Derrynane house and Abbey and a Staigue fort. There are also many beaches such as Rossbeigh and Kells.
