Bed and Breakfast Description

Rectory Farm is a 250 year old, creeper-clad farm house standing in its own tranquil 450 acre valley of scenic farmland in the heart of the North Cotswolds. A mature 2 acre garden leads down to two beautiful, spring fed trout lakes (fishing is available for guests –for more information please see www.salfordtroutlakes.co.uk). There is an abundance of walks through the farm and into the unspoilt countryside beyond – the Rollright Stones are within a couple of miles.

The three bedrooms comprise of:

* One double en suite with bath
* One twin or double en suite with shower
* One double or twin with private shower and bath

All the bedrooms are large and spacious, light and airy with lovely views of the surrounding farmland.

They are traditionally furnished with modern and comfortable beds. All rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, T.V.s and hair-dryers.

After a busy day relax into deep armchairs and sofas with roaring log fires and tables full of books and magazines whilst taking afternoon tea or evening cocktails.

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room which features a splendid 14ft solid oak table.
Dinners for large parties and special occasions are available by prior arrangement.

The area boasts an abundance of excellent pubs and restaurants to suit all requirements. We are only too happy to advise and make bookings.

Salford is two miles north-west of Chipping Norton off the A44. Rectory Farm is at the far end of the village. Go past the Black Horse pub, left at the telephone box into Cooks Lane, up the hill, past the children’s play area on your right and then left into the farm drive. Continue for 200 yards through the avenue of trees, and turn left into the house and gardens.

Salford is a small, rural village 1½ miles north-west of Chipping Norton, lying just off the A44 towards Moreton-in-Marsh.

Centrally located , Rectory Farm is ideally situated for all the Cotswold Villages. It is:

20 miles from Stratford, Oxford and Cheltenham
12 miles from Woodstock (Blenheim Palace)
6 miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford

Conveniently located, yet the stunning countryside is enfolded by a silent calm, often commented on by our guests.
