Welcome to St Judes, where our location is second to none. We are within walking distance of all the attractions Galway has to offer, including the beautiful Salthill promenade, the city's best shops, restaurants, pubs, theatres and art galleries.
St. Judes is an elegantly furnished, family-owned period home, offering warm hospitality and extremely comfortable accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere of informality and friendliness.
St. Judes boasts six guest bedrooms, which are all spacious, individually furnished and tastefully decorated to the highest standard.
All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with power showers, cable television, and ample closet space.
The food at St. Judes is in the style of the Irish country house. We use only the freshest ingredients, organic where possible, sourced from local suppliers and producers. |

Galway is a vibrant University City situated on the spectacular west coast of Ireland. It is renowned for its festivals, music, theatre, cinema, art galleries, restaurants, cafes, shops and narrow medieval streets. Nearby attractions include the best of Galway's pubs, music, restaurants, theatres, cinema, and art galleries. There are walking tours of Galway, which explore the history of this medieval City. Swimming, (both indoor and outdoor), championship golf courses, tennis, pitch and putt, horse riding, hillwalking, golf driving range, are all located close-by. Within easy reach are fine salmon and trout rivers, as well as sea angling.
St. Judes is also the ideal base for day trips to explore the fascinating and varied Galway Bay area: the lovely mountains and lakes of Connemara and the Cong and Maam Valley; the Aran Islands; Kylemore Abbey and the National Park; the unique landscape of The Burren and the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.
For visitors who do not have their own transport, or who prefer not to drive, there are several local companies running daily coach tours on all trips. There are daily ferries to the Aran Islands from Rosaveal, and daily flights from Inverin Airport, with connecting coach services from Galway to Inverin and Rosaveal. |
