The Earlsmere is situated on Scarborough’s famous South Cliff and the building has numerous original features. It benefits from a south facing position and is in close proximity to the Esplanade, the Spa and a range of restaurants and wine bars.
We are also a short distance from superb golf courses and other sporting facilities. The Italian gardens and Olivers Mount are also close by and there is a shopping centre within a short walking distance.
The Earlsmere is an elegant, Edwardian building set in a quiet terrace. We offer charming views of open greens to the front with side views of both the sea and Olivers Mount.
The Earlsmere has many exceptional features to make your stay unique and interesting. It retains most of its original late Victorian/early Edwardian features, including an elegant staircase with a beautiful stain glass window. The original fireplaces and gas lamps also help to capture the sense of history within the premises and the whole atmosphere is designed to promote a tranquil and relaxing experience.
The Earlsmere has five en-suite bedrooms. All rooms have a feature fireplace, television, radio, heating, bathrobes, hair dryers and courtesy trays with ground coffee, tea and fresh milk. Homemade biscuits and a bedtime drink are also provided.
All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in Victorian style with high quality bedding and soft furnishings. All en-suites have superior fixtures and fittings.
Wireless internet access is available to all rooms.
Rooms are available from 2.00pm on arrival day and we request vacation of your room by 10.30am on the day of your departure.
