Brickfields Farm is no longer a working farm, but is still surrounded by pastures where sheep and lambs graze in the spring and summer months.
It enjoys a private and secluded location, at the end of a tree-lined lane, yet is only a mile from the amenities of Kirkbymoorside, giving easy access to the North York Moors.
The luxurious, award-winning guest rooms are all on the ground floor and all with en-suite facilities. They are beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished, providing a pleasing blend of modern comfort with old style character.
The two rooms in the farmhouse share a cosy seating area with a wood-burning stove for the chilly winter evenings, and the four rooms in the new Barn conversion each have a comfy sofa to make your stay more relaxing.
All the beds are extremely comfortable, with good quality mattresses, and either cosy goose down duvets for cooler nights, or lighter-weight duvets for the summer, to ensure a good night’s sleep.
The rooms will be specially prepared for you, so if you have any special requirements (eg a preference for anti-allergy pillows) please let me know in advance so I can make the appropriate arrangements.
There is a flat screen television with DVD / CD player and Freeview digital channels are available (including digital radio channels) and wireless internet access in the house.
In each guest room you will find a refreshment tray with tea and coffee, herbal teas and infusions, and biscuits, and your own little tea pot. The fridge in each room contains mineral water and fresh milk, just like home.
The en-suite bathrooms with sparkling white tiles are spacious, and feature walk-in “wet room” style showers, heated towel rails, and you will be delighted with the “soft close” loo seats (Barn rooms). You will also find a range of quality “Spa Therapy” toiletries, plus cotton wool balls and fluffy face cloths.

It provides an ideal base for exploring the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and the historic East Coast, and for visiting stately homes, abbeys and castles.

"Church dwellings beside the moor" lies on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park on the A170, between Helmsley and Pickering. It is a small market town, unspoilt and traditional, often known as "The Gateway to the Moors".
The following places are all within easy reach of Kirkbymoorside, and maps and further information are available for use during your visit.
The North York Moors National Park is the largest expanse of heather upland in England. The dramatic moorland scenery, picturesque villages and 30 miles of stunning coastline make it an unforgettable experience. From April to October you can explore using the Moorsbus network. The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway - The 18 mile line runs between Pickering and Grosmont, through the heart of the National Park. Trains also call at the picturesque stations of Levisham, and Goathland (Aidensfield in "Heartbeat" TV series).
